
Chandra Harrison PhD
Principal User Experience Consultant
Over the past seven years Chandra has held user-centred design, research and testing roles for a range of companies covering web, mobile, product and software development. In New Zealand, she worked for Pulse Data developing assistive technology for people with visual impairment. In The United States, she worked for Siemens evaluating domestic appliances and healthcare software. And in the UK the most notable of many projects was working with children with disabilities to understand their needs for an interactive website.
Since joining Flow Chandra has worked on a variety of ethnographic and research projects for companies such as Nokia, the Environment Agency, the BBC and Transport for London. Chandra's experience covers the entire user-centred design process with special interests in emotional design, quantitative analysis and accessibility.
Chandra has a PhD in HCI from the University of York, where she explored emotional user experience using eye-tracking. She also lectures in HCI at City University London and has published several research papers.
